Quick Hits on Politics
The Pundit runs. Hopefully his popularity out here in the ozone will translate into votes in the 4th district.
In the 10th, fellow blogger Rus Thompson is trying to unseat one term incumbent Michelle Ianello. With just one term behind her, I don’t see where she has had a chance to really have a record that people can love or hate. I haven’t seen a whole lot of negatives. Most know Rus for his Island toll stance. He will have to publicize more than that if he wants to get the mainland vote.
Driving through South Buffalo and West Seneca yesterday afternoon, all I saw were Jim Keane signs sprouting from lawns. Is he running unopposed, or is the other guy too cheap to buy signs? This one should prove to be pretty nasty. even the winner will be pretty bloodied up. Collins might be able to take this one.
Geek has gone to politics mode.
He would rather have tax reform than rebate (got my vote there), and he’s ready to look into the rock’em, sock’em watch your tires, get your sign off my lawn, world of Buffalo city politics. This will be good…

That’s two guys: Paul Clark and Jimmy Griffin are challenging him in the Democratic primary. I’m sure the signs will be up soon enough…

I saw Mr Clark on the television last night, positive type ad. And you’re right, Although Griffin probably won’t be a serious contender, you can’t disregard him…
