Whatever Happened to Semi-civility?
When a simple post on Pundit’s site garners over 60 comments, it’s a sure bet that it quickly devolved into a fecal flinging fun fest.
I hate to sound like the old guy on the park bench complaining that the world is going to hell in a Longaberger, but can’t anyone stay on topic anymore? Wishing families would “eat shit and die”?
Makes me long for the days of Hank & Haterade. At least they could go at it without sounding like the angry drunk at the corner of the bar that spits when he yells incoherently at you.

I take credit for outing Haterade by ridiculing his screen name. He is now using his government name or was last I saw of him. Hank’s rants have made me laugh a few times. I have been in a hole since 1961 though so I am easily amused.

i infrequently visit pundit’s site, it’s become a theraputic modality for bp to resolve personal conflicts, and worst of all, he’s replaced humor with ridicule and over the top snark, thereby inviting flame wars, dub, please get bp a dog to kick or buy him a few beers to cry in

update : haterade and I are now old drunken irish pals who have seen the error of online feuding for no reason I give the guy respect for his cantankerosity and humor
